There's A Purple Belt in the House!

Sid asked that this test be a surprise.  At one point she heard me talk about a kid getting a belt test but she didn't know because she would get too nervous.  Sid said "A surprise belt test!!! That is so cool, I want my belt test to be a surprise!!!!"  So it was and she was surprised!
The test was over 45 minutes long, below are a few shots and a very condensed clip of the test.  She worked so hard and did very well.  She certainly earned her full purple.
First she did all 8 kata's at a slow speed showing her precision and without Kiai's and she did  her four soft forms.
Then she had to re-do all kata's and soft forms and chu'an Fa forms with intensity, combat speed and kiais.

She has developed really great form.
Then it was one minute full splits
And the hardest part of the test is the 5 minute horse stance.  She was a champ, didn't wiggle or come up once.  She was amazing.
50 pushups
50 squats
Kicking drills and dragon walk
Almost an hour later and she did it.  Her friends where so happy for her and we were all so proud.  This little 7 year old sure has a lot of information packed in that brain.
Next she had to take her belt from Sigung.

After her belt test was finished, Megan had her belt test too, also a surprise!  These two Italy bound kids are leaving on a real high note!
Happy and proud Kajukenbo families!!!
