Daffodils Are Delicious

Groovy is a CKC registered dog. When picking her up I had to provide a registered name that started with Princedale, the second name had to start with a W and then her call name. I knew I wanted her to be Groovy so we came up with Princedale's Wildflower Groove.

Why am I telling you this you wonder? Well it is because every year this happens and I am surprised every single time but I guess it is all in the name!

Here is our first Daffodil of the year. I had to sneak up on it and get a
picture quickly because it never fails........

Along comes Princedale's Wildflower Groove and CHOMP.... gone....

Notice the little bits of daffodil stuck to her beard? *sigh* She does it every single year and we often have to enjoy our flowers from a distance or out of the corner of our eye so that we don't draw attention to them. It is a quirky habit that we can laugh at and be thankful we didn't call her Princedale's Whirling Dervish which is what I had been pushing for but Ken refused to agree too! What a wise man he is :)
