Pool is Open

It turned out to be a beautiful day and we got the pool up and running. We had to fill it up with the hose so it was cold but relatively clean. Usually after it has run for a few days I will put my wet suit on and put the ladder in. I didn't get a chance to do that before the first swim of the season! Once the pump was running and the chemicals were balanced a little person came charging out of the house.

"I'm going swimming!"
"Honey, it's too cold."
"No it isn't, I am going swimming."
"Ok."

No ladder so she had to be lifted up on to the side of the pool.
"It's a little cold, but not too bad" she says.


"Ok, 64 degrees is COLD!"

"Ah swimming makes it all better!"

Neither of us could believe she was so determined to get in there and enjoy it. We just watched!


Ok, now I will take off my snow tires. Summer is here!
