Vacation!!

It's been quiet around here.  In cyber space and in my home!  Ken and Sid zipped off to Les Iles for a week long vacation with his family.  Loads of cousins (9 kids in total) lots of adults and lots of fun in the ocean and on the beach.

 And Sid's most favourite part.  The beach, the beach, the beach.  Which goes on for miles.

So she got to play with her cousins for 6 days straight, build sand castles, fly kites, go to a petting aquarium, sail, boat, fish.  It was a grand vacation for the little one AND she flew commercial for the first time and loved it.  She is ready for her next trip to Italy now.

 

Dad came back with huge smiles and enjoyed his time on the island too.  Nothing like family and fresh air to rejuvenate the sole.   Mom had a 7 day staycation.  Reading, hammocking, playing with the puppies.  It was quiet without my family but also rejuvenating in its own way too.
