Another Winter Month Gone By

I have a new item available in the shop on Facebook and in the Etsy shop. 

Eco-friendly dryer balls!

 Each ball is 2oz and made of 100% wool.  Pop them in your dryer and leave them there!  They reduce the drying time of your load by 30%- 50%.  They really work! These have been a hot item the past two weeks.  On top of my usual mobiles and custom commissions, I have been making time to squeeze dryer ball production onto the to do list!  These sell in a set of 4 for $24.00 or $6.00 a piece.

 Our newest addition is settling perfectly.  He no longer is segregated and is enjoying life to its fullest.  Lots of naps during the day so he can jump on us and lick our faces in the middle of the night!

 It is definitely tourney season again as we prepare for the Provincials coming up in early April.  This weekend Sid shone in Gracefield.  Above Megan helps her warm up. 

Who's next?

 First up was the weapons kata.  Sid was really nervous.  She tried to compete in weapons last tourney but had lost her voice so this was the first chance to compete properly and the division was BIG!

 She was second from the last and she was on FIRE!  There's a new first place and a new event to compete in!

 She was so happy about earning this one.  Hard work really pays off!  You have to watch her Bo Staff Form here:

Next was forms. 

She took 1st in Kata doing her hard forms!

Another 1st!

Tri-Vector!!!

It was a great day in Gracefield with good friends.  Lots of laughs and smiles and loads of success.  The 9 participants from our club brought home 17 medals and trophies.  Wow!

Ken had a gig the same day as the tournament so he wasn't able to come and I wasn't able to see him play.  He did an opening set of his own material.  I would have loved, loved, loved to have been there.  I hear he was amazing and 4 Way street blew the socks of the crowd as always.  Here is a taste of what I missed:
