Road Trip!!!

A spontaneous family road trip (including all three dogs) led us east to a place I have wanted to go to for a long time. Almost an hour down the 417 to Vankleek Hill and we arrived at....

Beau's!  A very successful micro-brewery located in Eastern Ontario

 And October is the best time to go because they brew several seasonal beers for Oktoberfest and the best part... free samples of any of their dozens of beers currently available.

So we loaded up with specialty beers for the Thanksgiving weekend.  We can always get Lug-tread at the LCBO but we were able to buy Pumpkin-Weiss which a pumpkin flavored beer, Dark Helmut, Gose, Night-Marzen and we sampled many other tasty concoctions.

 Back to the Aire-mobile for the hour drive back home.

So fun, this is going to become a bi-annual trip for sure but to be fair, mom will drive home next time!
